Barrett MRAD Covert

The Barrett MRAD Covert is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester with a 17 inch fluted barrel and 10+1 capacity. It uses Barrett's multi-caliber MRAD architecture in a shorter suppressor ready package with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. A folding stock with an adjustable cheek piece, full-length Picatinny rail, and match-grade two-stage trigger keep precision features intact in a more portable rifle.

The 17 inch fluted barrel uses a 1:8 twist for consistent performance across a wide range of .308 Winchester loads. The user-interchangeable barrel system carries over from the full-size MRAD platform so the rifle can be configured as needs change. A 3-position safety and a 10-round detachable magazine complete the controls and feed system.

With the stock folded the rifle measures 36.50 inches overall, and it extends to 46.50 inches for shooting. There are no iron sights, and the full-length Picatinny rail is ready for optics. At 13.50 lbs with a Black Cerakote finish, the MRAD Covert is suited to vehicle transport, backpack hunting, and other compact precision roles.
