When the original Canik MC9 was released, I bought one and couldn't have been more pleased, After mounting a 6moa green dot, hitting 8 inch plates at 25 yards was child's play and 11x17 inch silhouettes at 50 yards very easy. My only complaint was the grip length. It was OK with the finger base on the 12 round mag and good with the 15 round mag. Now I've replaced the MC9 with the MC9LS and I couldn't be happier. I put a 2 moa red dot on it and it's every bit as accurate and reliable as the original MC9. After replacing the trigger return spring, the trigger breaks cleanly at 4 pounds. This one is a keeper and the price from Gunprime was the best out there. Picture shows the pistol and a target I shot standing at 22 yards. Did I mention I'm an Octogenarian, well past 80?
