Description
This rare Colt Single Action Army revolver is a stunning tribute to the Nez Perce tribe and their iconic leader, Chief Joseph. Issued in 1997 as part of a highly limited run of only 75 units, this revolver features intricate Native American-themed engraving over a brilliant full nickel finish. This example is No. 29 of 75 and comes with its original walnut presentation case and key.
The 7.5" barrel is adorned with Native-style banding, buffalo engravings, and the powerful quote “I WILL FIGHT NO MORE FOREVER.” The cylinder commemorates key 1877 battle sites such as Big Hole Basin and Bear Paws, while the frame displays scenes of a howling wolf and an Indian village. Additional embellishments include arrowhead-engraved hammer sides, a feathered lance on the grip strap, and an arrow on the bottom.
This revolver is in near-new condition and appears unfired. It's an exceptional collectible for Colt enthusiasts, Native American history admirers, and SAA commemorative series collectors.
