- BARREL: The barrel lug sits farther back than most barrel designs and minimizes cant when the slide is unlocked. Less cant means less movement, and minimizes perceived recoil.

- SLIDE: The closed top gives added strength to the slide. This design reduces potential material buildup between the barrel hood and slide.

As advertised
I really like the Kimber R7 Mako. It is a flat shooter with very little recoil and very accurate. most importantly to me, is that the trigger is light. No “speed bumps“ like you get with a Glock. The trigger is crisp. These are my first impressions because I’ve only put about 50 rounds through the firearm. I look forward to shooting it again this week. Gun prime is great to deal with.
